Carbon Laser facial is a fast and painless treatment that helps improve the look of the skin. Also known the Charcoal Laser Facial, this treatment produces a smoother, clearer, and brighter complexion with its ability to deeply cleanse and exfoliate the skin resulting in a more radiant appearance, with smaller pores and less oil on the surface.​
What about pigmented lesions?
The Pico laser is the most effective laser to treat brown spots or sun damage on the skin. The laser fires in a trillionth of a second using photoacoustic energy (as opposed to photothermal heat with traditional lasers) to shatter pigment in its path. This is a painless, no downtime procedure. The brown spots will darken initially and then slough off within 1-2 weeks revealing clearer skin. Three sessions 1 month apart is ideal to obtain optimal results.
What about rosacea and vascular?
The Discovery Pico 1064 laser treatment can reduce the appearance of rosacea by diffusing facial redness. Although no cure for rosacea exists, a combination approach to management can provide effective improvement. Topical and oral medications are reserved for papules, pustules, flushing, erythema, and telangiectasia, and are all improvable to treatment with the Discovery Pico.
What is the recovery Like?
It is common to experience dry skin the week following your treatment. To counteract this, we recommend using gentle cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreen during this time. After one week, it is safe to resume your normal skincare routine. Post-care instructions may vary depending on your desired treatment.
