What is radio frequency microneedling?

RF microneedling adds radio-frequency (RF) energy to the technique through the use of special “energized” needles that simultaneously deliver RF energy into the microscopic wounds. The addition of RF energy amplifies the production of collagen and elastin even further than traditional microneedling, and triggers a greater degree of skin tightening, generating even better results.

The results are faster, and they last longer compared to traditional microneedling. Microneedling often causes a day or two of redness and slight swelling, whereas RF microneedling typically has no downtime at all.

How Does VIRTUE RF microneedling work?

The Virtue RF technology has sterile needles that penetrate the deeper dermis of the skin. These needles, combined with radio frequency energy, help create microscopic channels that stimulate the natural production of collagen, tightening and lifting the skin.

When can you expect to see results?

The treatment can provide immediate results and make your skin look smoother and brighter within hours of your treatment. However, since the treatment encourages collagen and elastin production, you can expect to see dramatic improvements within 4 to 6 weeks after the procedure

Most providers will recommend a series of three to four treatments, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. To maintain results, one treatment annually is recommended.

What is the recovery Like?

Rcovery?

After treatment you may look sunburned and experience continued warmth and/or tingling of the treated area. This is normal and will subside and within 24 hours. You may apply cold compresses as needed during this time.
