The Wellness at New South program is a comprehensive three-month program designed to help you reset, rebuild, and restore your health from the inside out. Through a combination of medical insight, nutrition coaching, personalized fitness, and lifestyle transformation, our goal is to help you become your healthiest self — for life. We also include two functional medicine tests, GI Map and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, to get a deeper understanding of your overall health.
This isn’t a quick fix or one-size-fits-all plan. It’s an evidence-based, medically guided program that addresses the root causes of imbalance — from movement, nutrition, gut health and hormones to sleep, stress, and vitality — creating sustainable habits that support long-term health & wellness.
What You’ll Learn and Experience
Each week of the program builds upon the last, combining medical evaluation, nutrition, movement, and self-care practices for a truly holistic approach:
Nutrition & Meal Planning: You’ll learn to create sustainable eating habits, understand label reading, and tailor your meals to your metabolism and goals. We also provide you with recipes to help get you started!
Functional Movement & Training: You’ll receive personalized workouts, mobility sessions, and field trips that make fitness accessible and fun.
Gut Health & Hormone Balance: Discover how digestion and hormones impact energy, mood, and weight — and get a plan to support optimal function.
Sleep & Stress Management: We’ll practice evidence-based techniques for better rest and emotional balance.
Ongoing Monitoring: Regular InBody scans, lab testing, and vital sign checks help you see your progress in real numbers.
Throughout the 12 weeks, you’ll have a structured schedule that includes clinical visits, nutrition and movement sessions, and group reflections, all supported by the New South Family Medicine team.

Kelsey Septimio, PA-C
Lead Wellness Practitioner

Kelsey is a comprehensive wellness practitioner who is passionate about helping patients feel their best. With degrees from Virginia Tech and Campbell University, she blends medical science with whole-person wellness. Her expertise includes preventive medicine, hormone optimization, and aesthetics, and she has proudly served the New South community since 2021.
Kelsey is a board-certified Physician Assistant and comprehensive wellness practitioner dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and balance. Holding dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University, along with an undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, she integrates evidence-based medical science with a whole-person approach to health.
Her expertise includes preventive and lifestyle medicine, endocrine system support, and aesthetics. She truly seeks to help patients feel their best from the inside out. Kelsey is extensively trained in the interpretation of functional testing, including comprehensive laboratory panels, GI-MAP stool analysis, and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), allowing her to uncover and address root causes of imbalance.
Since 2021, Kelsey has proudly served the New South community, guiding patients toward improved vitality, resilience, and long-term well-being through personalized, integrative care.
Noell Yanik

With nearly two decades of experience in the wellness industry, Noell brings energy, expertise, and a passion for helping others transform from the inside out. She is a nationally recognized ISSA Pro Trainer, 500hr RYT, Sports Nutritionist, and Pelvic Floor Specialist who blends science-backed strategies with real-life solutions.
Noell has been featured in Women's Health Magazine as one of the top 5 trainers in the U.S., appeared on Good Morning America, and served as the resident fitness expert for Fox’s Good Day Charlotte from 2014–2020. She is also the author of Unbreakable Core, a training program focused on building a strong, functional core, and the creator of UBCPlus, an online and in person holistic lifestyle plan known for promoting fat loss, strength gains, gut healing, and long-term sustainability.
Her wellness philosophy is simple but powerful: food should be clean and colorful, movement should feel joyful, and wellness is a lifelong journey. With Noell, clients learn to “eat the rainbow,” prioritize protein, meal timing and embrace routines that build confidence and lasting results.
